Communicating Connecting with Parents

Parent engagement at the school site has been a hot topic for the past several years, and rightfully so. In addition to recent accountability measures requiring parent engagement, including the Local Control and Accountability Plan, as educational leaders, we are aware of the many benefits that occur as a result of positive home/school relationships. While those benefits may be obvious, there is another component related to communication that needs to be addressed: making intentional connections with parents and families.
