In the fall of 2019, CLEAR is beginning a student-led program currently named “CLEAR Young Professionals Corps” made up of college students, primarily at Fresno State. The purpose of this program, as indicated by Program Facilitator, Taylor Martin, is to “cultivate professional skills, leadership, networking and skill advancement in underrepresented groups.” CYPC serves student professionals from underrepresented groups by providing equitable resources, workshops and mentoring for professional skill and leadership development. Our program’s focus is to provide leadership development opportunities in the areas of mentoring, networking, systemic change, advocacy, cultural/intercultural communication and intentional activism.
