Transforming School Culture and Climate Through Effective Classroom Management Strategies!
Participants will be exposed to strategies teachers can use to engage misbehavior and immediately disengage. These moments of engaging and disengaging support the research of understanding the environments at-risk students come to between the hours of 8 am – 3 pm each school day needs to be different than the environments kids come from. Additionally, participants will be exposed to a new narrative of addressing student behavior regarding the constructs of a Before, During, and After ideology that administrators should consider when conducting a panoramic view scape of their current behavioral management system.

Presented by: Johnny Alvarado, Ed.D., Educational Consultant

Valuing Diversity and Beyond…
This presentation will introduce a definition of “Diversity,” travel the journey through “Unconscious Bias,” meet at “Inclusion,” hold a conversation about “Equity,” and challenge individual, group, and systems thinking regarding “Structural Racism.” The question then becomes…”and so what do you intend to do now?”
