For many leaders of color, we are often called upon to “code-switch” of sorts because we most often “live in two worlds” racially, ethnically, and culturally. Working with students (and teachers) to do the same in racial, ethnic, and cultural learning environments should also be expected. Take the time to read this interesting article in the Atlantic regarding switching between dialects…or in essence speaking more than one language.
