COVID era teaching and learning have been impacted in significant ways. Over the last 12 months, educators across the globe pivoted to meet the demands of teaching and learning in unprecedented times. As districts across the state prepare to return to the classroom, many educators have shifted their focus to reimagine traditional schooling. “Returning to normal” has yielded disparate outcomes for various students groups and with the investment of the Education Stabilization Fund it is time for school systems to pay back their education debt to marginalized students.

In this session, representatives from higher education and PK-12 we will share research on unfinished learning and “missing-ness’”, examine leadership shifts needed to accelerate learning and identify strategies to advance equity, social justice and excellence for ALL.
