Dr. Ken Magdaleno Receives FresnoState‘s Richter Award of Excellence in Education
CLEAR is pleased to announce that Dr. Ken Magdaleno has been selected as a recipient of the Jan and Bud Richter Award of Excellence in Education. This prestigious award is for Kremen School of Education and Human Development (KSOEHD) faculty members who have excelled in their field of expertise, and have continually served to promote the mission of the KSOEHD. Faculty contributions include excellence in:
Teaching and preparation of professionals
Initiating rigorous and creative research to advance the knowledge base of the fields of education and human development
Providing academic leadership and the development of campus programs
Developing strong and productive community-based programs
Advocating for students
Establishing close and collaborative working relationships with teachers, administrators, and professionals in the Central Valley’s schools and community
“Ken is an incredible asset to the education community, and we can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor,” said Andy Garcia, Executive Director of Lozano Smith. “He is an advocate, a mentor, and an educational leader. He inspires all of us at CLEAR, and his award reminds us that together, we can make a difference in our schools.”
