About the Award:
The Lozano Smith Foundation Mentoring Program Award is an annual recognition award offered through the Center for Leadership, Equity, and Research (CLEAR) that seeks to promote the good work of student-based mentoring programs throughout the State.

The award recognizes school districts and individual schools who exemplify all aspects of mentoring through established programs – from helping students enhance personal, academic and leadership skills – to ensuring an inclusive, positive school environment.

Why Submit?
Two (2) school districts will be honored and provided with a $1,500 award designated towards an individual school’s mentoring program. An award presentation will be made during CLEAR’s Annual Mentoring Summit on October 23, 2015 in Fresno, CA.

Who Should Submit?
Does your school have a career academy or link crew that has proven to be invaluable to students? How about success stories from clubs started on campus or community partnerships that focus on mentoring? We want to hear your stories. Submissions are limited to one per school, but school districts may have multiple submissions.
